Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
The Keurig Mini brewer is a great solution for gourmet coffee lovers in locations where a compact size, and minimal features is ideal. It is an excellent companion for vacation homes, cabins, college dorms, boats, RVs, or home office desktops. The Mini is compact, easy to use and brews an 8-ounce cup anywhere you can take it along and plug it in. The mini heats 8 ounces of water in about 3 minutes and then brews just like our regular brewers with no water remaining in the brewer. Now you can enjoy consistently brewed gourmet coffee tea and hot cocoa, virtually anywhere.

All Keurig brewers use Keurig's patented K-Cup (dedicated pod-like) single portion packs. K-Cups are "mini-brewers" that eliminate the hassle of grinding beans, measuring coffee, handling filters and messy clean-up while brewing a gourmet cup of coffee or tea in less than one minute. Gourmet coffees, teas and hot cocoa distinguish Keurig from its competition. With over 200 different coffee, tea and hot cocoa varieties from 13 gourmet partners, Keurig is designed to meet the many tastes of hot beverage drinkers.

5 out of 5 stars My Keurig   January 8, 2009
Keurig B30 Mini Personal Single-Serve Brewing System, White Being somewhat smaller than the "fullsize" model this Keurig is just right. It makes a great cup of coffee and with dozens of choices of blends it's not only fun but opens new vistas of coffees from around the world without buying large quantities of a particular brand. Bravo Keurig!! Thanks

5 out of 5 stars One of the best xmas presents ever!   January 7, 2009
I love, love LOVE this little machine! Thank you honey for going for the gadget gift and coming up with a real winner! It has changed my attitude, made everyone's life more pleasant around me and is already saving money and my waistline. I no longer have the need to frequent the coffee shops and end up with fatty specialty drinks and pasteries. It takes no time to have a hot (but not too hot) cup of coffee and have a fast attitude adjustment. And being as green as I can be, I didn't like the idea of always using coffee in little plastic cups. Thankfully, the accessory that allows you to use your own ground beans works perfectly. I like having both options. It is very small and takes up little space, which is great for my VERY tiny 1950s kitchen. So, it is easy to use, easy to clean and I have found nothing to not like about this little machine!

4 out of 5 stars great for my work environment   January 6, 2009

I work in a cubie with very minimal beverage facilities - water from a cooler and a bathroom sink for washing. I drink one or two cups a day. I am no aficionado, but I won't drink instant or watery or over-boiled swill. This works great for me. Fill the tank with water, brew, throw out the kcup with no mess, drink the coffee, rinse out the cup. It's in my cubie, so the three-minute wait for brewing is nothing - just another email message read. The coffee tastes fine now that I've sampled a few brands/blends and found one I like, and the cups are widely available (local grocery stores carry them in my town). I brew tea in it too, in the reusable cup, and it does a good job of that (basic black Irish Breakfast sorts of teas). It's too expensive for how simple it is, but I will make the cost back in two months or so of not going to a coffee house on the way to work.

this is a very kool coffee pot.. I love it .I also bought the refillable filter to use up the coffee I had and it worked great. I love that there is no waste now and no coffee setting in the pot

4 out of 5 stars Nice if you want K-cups, buy black and decker if you use your own coffee   January 6, 2009
I love a cup of coffee first thing in the morning, to drink in bed. For years I've used a black and decker 1-cup maker. I fill it with ground coffee the night before, then in the morning add water and push the button. 3 minutes later, coffee. Simple, very inexpensive, nice looking.

But the mess of the grounds and remembering to fill it the night before made me want to try the k-cups, so I bought a keurig b30. The k-cups are just as convenient as I had expected. It's a little hard to research the "perfect" coffee because you have to buy in lots of 25 or even 50 cups, which is a significant investment. I found some "barack obama" coffee on sale for $9 for 25 cups, which is 36 cents a cup. Not hugely expensive, but you have to keep buying them forever. The only disappointment is that the water well is a little smaller than on my black and decker so I can't make a full mug of coffee. It's also 4 steps instead of 1 to start it in the morning. But it won't run unless there is a cup in it to catch the coffee, which seems like a nice feature. I've seen the B40, found it less cute, but is probably useful if you wanted to store water and apparently it is faster.

I would say that if you plan to use your own coffee (not the k-cups) you should save yourself a lot of money and buy a black and decker. But I am happy with the B30.
