Product Description
Easiest way to keep your pets nails trim rounded and smooth. You can trim your pets nails anywhere without the pain from traditional nail clippers. The precision filing wheel gently removes thin layers of nail. The protective cap allows the perfect amount of nail to be trimmed and contains all the filings so there is no mess.

4 out of 5 stars better alternative than clippers!   January 7, 2009
I used the pedipaws on my small and large dog. It seemed to work fine and was quieter than I expected, I was expecting the motor to be very loud as some people have suggested a dremel. I have a dremel, it is not quiet by any means, I would have to absolutely sedate my dogs prior to using a dremel so I had little expectations for the Pedipaws. It does make the nails smooth which is the main reason I got it. Although, we did realize that if you use the trimmer the way that the picture shows it ends up going against the nail in an awkward way, jerking it at some point. This seemed to hurt my dog. So, we flipped it upside down to where the trimmer went at the nail the other way. This was much more effective and painfree, no jerking either. So far I have no problems with the Pedipaws.

1 out of 5 stars Waste of Money   January 7, 2009
After having read the reviews on this product, I am returning the one I bought for my son, without delay. It seems that it is poorly constructed and causes more anxiety in pets and owners than one would expect. Obviously the TV commercial is deceptive, and so are the pets, who look as if they were stoned while having their nails clipped. What animal could be panting for joy or wide eyed and still while having done what I read described in these reviews?

I actually laughed my head off at some of the reviews explaining what had to be done to cut just one nail. To do this to cut a pets nails is insane! No animal or pet owner should be subjected to this kind of torture. In my family, our pets are protected from this product.

Don't buy this one. Save yourself the extra trip to the store, or the postage you would waste on it.

3 out of 5 stars Good product...Bad shipping   January 6, 2009
I am finding the product useful for our pet, but I was completely unsatisfied with the way the item was shipped. I had been told that the shipping would be 17.95(shipped through USPS) Instead the item was shipped to me using UPS which ended up charging me brokerage fees(an additional 36.45)which made the total cost of shipping of 2 pedi paws 54.40(US funds)With the exchange rate I could have purchased both pedi paws for cheaper in a store in my home town( Canadian funds). I have complained to the company that sent me my items, UPS and have made a complaint to the Federal trade commission as I didn't appreciate being misinformed. Not Cool

1 out of 5 stars waste of money   January 6, 2009
The pedipaws motor wasn't near strong enough to file my dogs nails. I should have just used my dremel tool. I feel it was a total waste of money as far as medium to large dogs are concerned. It may work on cats.

1 out of 5 stars No thank you!!   January 6, 2009
The PediPaws nail trimmer is not an effective product at filing my boxer's nails. It requires two C batteries to power it. I don't know if that's enough power or what but all it can do is scrap a little bit of the nail away. The second that you apply a little pressure, the rotary device stops completely. Simply not cost or time effective! I will be returning this product in exchange for a dremmel type rotary tool which I borrowed from a friend and works great.
