Amazon.com Product Reviews

While it doesn't turn bedtime into a campout, the Tot in Mind Cozy Crib Tent II is a great way to keep toddlers and toys inside the tent and pests and pets outside. The domed canopy attaches snugly via Velcro to most standard and sleigh cribs. Setup is easy--almost like a tent--and once on it discourages toddlers from climbing, falling, and wandering. If you have a climbing toddler not yet ready for a toddler bed, the Crib Tent II bridges the gap and will have parents, and child, resting easier. Crib rails can be lowered and bumper pads can still be used. The soft full zipper allows quick access to the crib, and it is compact and lightweight for travelling. Manufacturer recommended age is birth to three years. --Scott Teal

Patented Design Helps Protect Baby
Lightweight, easy to assemble and collapsible for travel, the Crib Tent II features a patented design that helps prevent crib falls and unattended wandering. It also provides ample headroom and a large, soft zipper for quick and easy access to your child. In addition, the innovative wrap around end panels and tri-hook and loop locking system allows this crib topper to be attached to most standard and sleigh-style cribs with an outside diameter of 29 x 54 inches and having four level corners. And it allows the crib rail to be lowered for easy access.

Prevents Injuries
The Crib Topper II works by keeping baby inside the crib and unwanted pests or pests out. First, it prevents baby from both climbing on crib rungs, which protects little limbs from injuries at the same time as it protects against baby climbing out. It also keeps objects, pets and bugs out of the crib, while containing your child's own bottles, toys, etc.

Safety tested and washable, the Crib Topper II comes with a 60-day limited warranty.

4 out of 5 stars Does its job.   January 6, 2009
The crib tent isn't beautiful, but it does its job -- it keeps my toddler in bed long enough to go to sleep at bed time. She did manage to rip one of the straps by trying to climb into her crib from the outside. A must have if your toddler is a climber.

5 out of 5 stars Exactly what we were looking for   December 5, 2008
My wife gave birth just under a week ago. We got home and we had planned on keeping him the nursery from day one. AS everyone told us those plans changed fast. My brother had given us the Graco Pack N Play and we began using it as a bassinett in our room. The only problem was that our cat, Allie, has always slept in our room. Closing the door is not an option because she would sit outside the door and scream. We had always heard not to leave a cat unattended with a sleeping baby so I began my research. Graco had a top for sale at one time but it appears it has been discontinued. We found this on Amazon and thought it looked good. I looked into it at Babies R US becuase we had a gift certificate and they sold it there as well. After I used the coupons that you can find everywhere for Babies R US it was actually cheaper than Amazon. It is not designed for the Graco but we set the tent up and then placed the Pack N Play inside the tent completely closed. When we opened the pack N Play it all fit together perfectly. We sleep better (but not like we used to) knowing that he is safe. Allie loves to sit and watch him sleep but never gets in. In a few weeks we hope to move him to the crib and the tent will go as well. The only difficulty was putting the second rod into its sleeve. It is not an issue with the maufacturing just a product of making it eventually fit well. I was working alone for 10 minutes (the whole process should take a minute to put together) before my wife had to help.

I would highly recommend this to anyone.

5 out of 5 stars Holding up well, baby still in bed   November 10, 2008
I purchased this when my little climber got himself out of bed about 11 months ago. It is still holding up, we recently noticed one hole starting to rip near the zipper so I got out the needle and thread and reinforced that very easily. Aside from that - it installed easily. I have taken it down for cleaning a few times (after illnesses), when it is unzipped I can drop the side with no problem, and therefore can change the sheet with no problem. When I drop the side the tent does lean forward, but the side drops fully. My son never had a problem with the tent, and he zips it himself as far as he can, but cannot unzip it. (From some of the other reviews I think others had the original crib tent and not the crib tent II.) I would definitely recommend this to anyone who doesn't want a baby on the loose in the middle of the night.

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful Product   November 2, 2008
I put this product on my 11 month old daughters crib just before her bedtime, I thought it would freak her out so i was a little leary..but she went right to sleep and it has never bothered her that it was on her crib, it works great and fits our crib wonderfully. I would recommend this to anyone who has a very active baby/toddler that needs to be kept out of trouble or from climbing out of there crib.
The only thing bad I would say, is that is is a bit tricky to assemble, it only has a few parts but you really have to bend the plastic bows at the top of the tent to get them to fit, so much so i was afrid it would snap. Also, if you are tall like i and my husband are it is a bit tricky to get the baby in an out, but thats a comprimise i am willing to make for saftey.

4 out of 5 stars Finally we got our baby sleep thru the night!   October 17, 2008
0 out of 1 found this review helpful

Its been 8 months I could not sleep thru the whole night just because my baby boy woke up about 3 ~ 5 times at night. We finally decided to do the cry it out method to let him learn how to calm himself. But when we saw him almost climb up to the top of the crib after 5 days of training, we were freaking out. And of course the traning did not work. We went to Babies R US and thought maybe we only have to buy a bigger and taller crib to solve the problem and find out all the cribs are made with standard size. The sales lady told us about this product and suggest us to try it out. Now he is almost 10 months old and he is able to sleep thru the night. Thank God! I finally get my beauty sleep back. This is a great product and solve the problem but way too expensive for such a simple material, so I only gave it 4 out of 5.
