3 out of 5 stars just ok   November 30, 2008

As with most products you see on TV infomercials they look a lot easier than they are in real life. The Peticure does an ok job, but be prepared to spend a lot of time doing the nails the first time and then use it weekly.

this item was purchased as a Christmas gift, so it has'nt yet been used. However, it arrived in a timely manner in good shape.

1 out of 5 stars Does not work as advertised. Not worth it.   November 23, 2008

Product: Its very noisy and difficult to use. Not any better than a regular dremel tool.

Seller: The box it came in was open and the product was clearly not new. They should let you know before you purchase.

1 out of 5 stars i tried...   November 15, 2008

we have 5 dogs and 2 cats and the cats are ok with the nail clippers but the dogs aren't and they are mostly medium sized dogs so its hard work!! I tried step by step like it was listed on the manual but most of them were scared to death and peed all over the house.. one of them had a good response but he goes into the play mode (if you know what i mean..) and its dangerous!! to both of us!! when he gets excited i can't hold him down and he thinks i am playing with him.. and if i can't hold him down i can't see how much I am shaving it off.. and if I do it too much then it's going to hurt him... I could do the front paws but not the back paws.. so I tried to do on the chihuahua (because he is decently small..) but ooooh noooo... he cried and cried and cried and wiggled him self out of me.. I couldn't hold him down ether... so i tried on the cats.. they didn't like the vibration.. or they started to play with them.. when its on.. its dangerous!! he almost shaved his nose off!! so i tried when they were sleeping.. i could do one or two of them but the sound and the vibration woke them up and its too powerful for a kitten.. it seemed like the vibration was hurting his root of the nails... so i went back to the good old nail clippers.. it works fine and they don't seem to mind at all.. and its quick too!!

over all this product wasn't for our 4 legged family members.. but maybe it works for yours.. good luck!!

2 out of 5 stars Scares the hell out of my dog,and takes a LONG time   November 9, 2008

Maybe your dog is different from mine, but "Peticure Petite Nail Trimmer" scares the hell out of my dog,and I'm chasing him with the product more than I'm using it.The dogs and cats on the commercial most be drugged,or too old to run like my Airedale.I would rather clip my dogs nails instead.
