Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Feliway, also known as Comfort Zone New 75 mL bottle for same price! Feliway spray can help stop cat spraying. Both male and female cats, because of hormonal and behavior problems, can start spraying urine on objects or areas. Feliway contains pheromone-like substances which discourages this behavior when it is applied to the area the pet has sprayed. One depression of the Feliway pheromone spray nozzle should be applied approximately 4" from the site, 8" from the floor. Only one spray per application site is necessary. Urine marks and prominent objects should be treated one to two times daily for 30 days. Maintenance application every two to three days may be necessary in some situations. 5 out of 5 stars Product works   January 6, 2009
I bought this product to get my cats to quit marking. It works if you can first successfully remove the urine from the surface that they marked.

1 out of 5 stars Hype, Placebo Effect, or Wishful Thinking?   December 23, 2008
This product didn't work for me when I adopted a spraying semi-feral who taught one of my older cats to pee on walls. Using it is like putting a chemical sign on the wall that says "Pee here!" I found that when I sprayed it around the house, the cats either became confused and more stressed (first trial) or ignored it and sprayed the spots anyway (second trial). The cats probably didn't like the perfumed reek of this product any better than I did, and I still have shiny spots on paint and metal where I sprayed it four months ago. To be fair to the company that makes this stuff, they do have a disclaimer to buffer their hype, and I do wonder how many people who swear by this product have problems that would have resolved on their own. In the meantime, if your cats start spraying, face reality and go buy a bottle of bleach and a sponge - your house will be cleaner, your cats happier, and your wallet fatter than if you buy this.

1 out of 5 stars Feliway Spray just throw away.   December 13, 2008
I am sorry, but I did not note any difference with this product, "Feliway Spray".

5 out of 5 stars Great product when used with other interventions   December 5, 2008
I Feliway because my male cats started fighting with each other after I had my first baby. They were getting pretty aggressive with each other and one of them started to spray different areas of the house. I bought Feliway (spray and diffuser) and it really helped calm the situation. Both of the cats relaxed a lot. It wasn't enough on it's own to stop my cat from spraying (for that, we had to put the cat on Prozac, believe it or not), but it did make both cats feel a lot more relaxed and has stopped the aggression. By using some behavioral techniques and meds (for the spraying cat), combined with the feliway, the unwanted behaviors have complete stopped. I definitely recommend this product to people with cat "issues."

4 out of 5 stars Pricey but worth it.   November 22, 2008
This product seemed to do the trick. The cats did not seem to fight in the rooms where I sprayed and it seemed to help keep them from marking as well. It's a bit too pricey to keep for the whole house or to use a diffuser...but definitely worth a spot treatment.
