About Our Irish Wolfhound Puppy Breeding Program

Since 1990, Rysheron Irish Wolfhounds has been breeding, raising and showing exceptional Irish Wolfhounds - with 32 champions to date! We have lived with this noble breed since 1976 and fallen head over heels in love.

We are very selective in our breeding practices, producing just one to three very special litters each year. Rysheron Irish Wolfhounds is dedicated to breeding only exceptional animals that demonstrate the requisite type, temperament and soundness that constitutes this majestic breed. Our kennel is small and conscientious, and we plan to keep it that way. Our puppies are raised with plenty of love and attention, and we are very proud of their wonderful temperaments.

Health Information About Our Irish Wolfhound Dogs & Puppies

 We take every measure to ensure that our dogs are free from congenital health problems prior to breeding, including heart, hip and eye exams. Puppies are vet-checked and vaccinated before they leave our home, and we offer a guarantee against any congenital health defects. When we sell a puppy, we assume the responsibility of following that placement for the life of the animal, regardless of whether it is the top show prospect - or a loving family companion. We feel that owning an Irish Wolfhound is a great responsibility, and if you are chosen to be a companion to one of our Hounds, then you are forever a member of the Rysheron Family.

Buyer Requirements for Our Irish Wolfhound Puppies

We carefully screen each potential adoptive puppy parent to ensure that each of our puppies is going to a happy, healthy, loving and capable home. In keeping with our kennel policy, potential buyers must fill out an application form, be properly educated about the breed, and be able to provide the time and proper facilities to care for an Irish Wolfhound. We also have a spay/neuter contract on all "pet-quality" puppies.

We ship on non-stop flights within the United States, preferably accompanied by the new owner.
