About Our Shih-Tzu Puppy Breeding Program

Welcome to AnGa's Star Shih Tzu. Our dogs live with us as part of the family. This helps to ensure that all our puppies have a well-balanced temperament and are socialized before they leave us. All dogs live together, both breeds share the huge outdoor runs. All puppies are integrated into the group of dogs, once they are old enough to walk, which is in some cases as young as four weeks. Also potty-training starts around that time, which should make it easier for the new owners to continue getting their puppy house-trained as fast as possible and thus making it more enjoyable to have a dog share their lives. Of course, all of our dogs love children! Puppies receive plenty of love and attention from the time they are born to the time they join their new families, helping to lay the foundation for a well-socialized family pet that will provide your family with many years of love, joy, laughter and companionship.

Health Information About Our Shih-Tzu Dogs & Puppies

 At AnGa's Star Shih Tzu, the health, adherence to breed-standard, well-being and longevity of our Shih Tzu dogs, and ultimately the satisfaction of our puppy buyers are our main concerns. We take careful measures to ensure the health and genetic soundness of the Shih Tzu dogs in our breeding program, as well as the health of each puppy born at AnGa's Star. Needless to say, we place special emphasis on healthy dogs in both of our breeds; the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Shih Tzu. Our Shih Tzu puppies are CERF (eye tested at University of GA) and receive a thorough vet check before they leave us to go to their new homes. Our health guarantee includes a 'replacement' puppy (without having to give the original puppy back) in case of a severe hereditary illness.

Buyer Requirements for Our Shih-Tzu Puppies

We care deeply for every puppy that we bring into the world, and do our best to ensure that they are being placed in the very best homes we can find. In our buyers, we look for a "forever" home, where puppy buyers have carefully considered the responsibilities which go along with Shih Tzu puppy ownership, and are ready to make a life-long commitment to their new puppy. We have all prospective new owners fill out a very detailed questionnaire and ask for at least 5 references from them. Anyone who is not prepared to answer all our reasonable questions, should not ask for a puppy from us.

We love to keep in touch with our puppies after they leave our home, and enjoy receiving photos and updates on how our babies are doing in their new homes. Please feel free to ask us questions and ask for any reading material to help you know how to be the best parent to your new arrival.
