About Our Goldendoodle Breeding Program
I have 6 dogs that are indoor-outdoor pets. I don't have a kennel.I have two black standard poodle females,Vanessa and Lacy. They will both one day be added to my breeding program but right now are still too young. I have two female Golden Retreivers, Suzy and Kacie. They are 3 and 2 years old respectivly. Kacie is recently added to our family and has had her first puppies.I recently added a chocolate female standard named Jewels to the family but she is yet too young to reproduce. I also have a male, creme-colored, standard poodle, Apollo.
I raise my dogs on a small farm in Missouri. Mom is a vet so they aren't without proper medical attention. They get Promeris, for fleas and ticks,Heartgard to prevent heartworms, Panacure for regular deworming and Albon as needed. All dogs are up to date on Parvo/distemper and Rabies.
My puppies are born in the house and I keep them there till they are old enough to go outside. They are socialized daily with me, mostly, but of course other dogs and my little sister. I go sit and play with them for hours at a time when it is practical to do so.

Health Information About Our Goldendoodle Dogs & Puppies
I vaccinate at 6,9,12 and 16 weeks with a five-way parvo/distemper. At 16 weeks I also give their rabies. Their dewclaws are removed at 3 days old and they get a good vet check then, but they also get looked at by a vet about every day as part of daily routine.I give tem 5cc of Panacure for 5 days when they are 6 weeks old and Albon if needed. Mothers take Osto-Form,omega-3,and vitadrops as part of a prenatal regimin.
I have never had a puppy with a hernia or any puppy reported with a hip,eye,or elbow problem. Which are all the tests that should be run If they are going to be bred. My standard male and my goldens havent been checked ( i didn't know I was going to breed them when they were younger) but my little standard girls are on the books to get those tests run and I might do my new female Golden as well.
Buyer Requirements for Our Goldendoodle Puppies
Love at first site is always the most important. If you are going to have a pet you must love it for its needs to be in the forfront of your mind throughout its life.
My pups usually attract men with alergies because no self respecting man would ever have a poodle(or at least that is what my best friend told me)and Goldendoodles are large, hypoallerginic,terrier looking dogs that men seem to like because of the lack of froo.
I would rather families buying Goldendoodles have no intention of breeding them because they wouldn't end up with a litter of goldendoodles. In a perfect world they would get 50% goldendoodle,25% straight poodle and 25% strait Golden.
If I don't think someone would make a good pet owner I refuse sale. I have seen too many poorly cared for animals to release my pampered babies to someone who won't take good care of them. However, I have never refused a sale to date. I keep in touch with almost every one of the puppy owners via email to see how they are doing.
Look for coming litters of RED and BLACK Standards and/or goldendoodles.
